Meet a Board Member: Amy Matsumoto, 2016-2017 Past President

What made you want to be an SMPS Seattle board member?
It seemed like a natural progression, I served on a committee for a few years and then was nominated to be a Director on the Board.  I really enjoy being involved behind the scenes with SMPS Seattle.  Serving on the Board has also enabled me to develop additional skills that transfer both personally and professionally.

What do you love most about SMPS? 
I really enjoy the people, camaraderie and the high-quality education and networking events we offer.

What part of your daily routine do you enjoy most?  
Movement: it is usually one of the three- soccer, crossfit or running (or rather, I try to run, some may call it a fast walk!)

If you could learn any skill, what would it be? 
Become fluent in two more languages.
