Event Recap: Alternative Delivery Methods

Lindsey Pflugrath, Esq., Shareholder at Skellenger Bender, P.S. moderated a lively panel discussion at the 2/25/14 SMPS Luncheon: “Alternative Delivery Models.” This was the place to be for firms interested in learning more about public/private projects. Each Panelist spoke from a different perspective of the A/E/C industry, giving thoughts, critiques and insights on how to submerge into and survive alternative delivery models – in particular – the Build-to-Suit Lease to Own (63-20).

Unique to the panel was a history of working together on past projects, including the University of Washington Football Stadium Renovation. While the delivery method may be different, the key to success runs parallel with all projects: collaborate – and collaborate early!
