Get Your Strength Off the Bookshelf

The most important tool we have in our career is ourselves. Join us for our first Education Event of the SMPS year where we’ll reflect on who we are and how we can bring our unique strengths to the workplace. To do this, bring any personal assessment you have taken  (DiSC, CliftonStrengths, High 5, Enneagram, Meyers Briggs, etc.) and we’ll learn how to use the results to help you thrive at work. By understanding our strengths – and yes, even our weaknesses – we can improve relationships, set and maintain boundaries, and communicate better up, down, and across the company. This session shares tools to use your core strengths with ease and intention.

Takeaways:

  • How to use your assessment for better workplace communication.
  • How to increase your success by advocating for more of what you do well and enjoy.
  • How to use your assessment to set boundaries that align with your values, workstyle, and company.

About the Speaker:

Katherine Robinette, CPSM
President/Owner of Keystone and Raven, LLC

Katherine Robinette has always led from the middle. For more than 30 years, she has been a leader with and without a title, creating opportunities for culture, connection, and change for herself and her teams. Through her marketing/BD roles in mid- to large-sized engineering companies, she helped her firms increase their win rates, develop strong and consistent pursuit practices, and collect the data necessary to understand client and market trends. Now as a private consultant, she helps leaders through some of the biggest business goals, from leadership transition to department restructures to M&A culture audits. Katherine focuses her theater, nonprofit administration, and corporate marketing and business development expertise inside organizations, to transform company culture from within.
